Hi Dada!

Dada or Da is one of the first sounds a baby makes.  The other famous sound a baby makes  Ma or Mama.  I was lucky enough for our first son’s sound to be the word of dada.   It was a great feeling and one of the reasons that I made this American Dad blog.   Even though it took awhile for my son to realize what the word actually meant, it was an awesome experience.

Dada – All About

Being a dad and being a parent has taught me a lot like more responsibility and how important being positive role model is.  I see American values that have made this country so great go down the tubes.  Our values to work hard and save money have gone away.  We are also turning into a here and now society that is lazy.  Kids our getting out of shape and not take on responsibilities that they need.  They all learn to spend money like there is not tomorrow.

Our responsibilities as a dada is to get our children to be responsible American citizens.  We can teach them these things by being responsible ourselves, watch the money we spend, and being overall good role models.  We talk to them about values as well live those values.  Children are a product of their environment.  You as a dad and husband are their environment.   You treat your wife well, they are more than likely to treat their future wife well.  You spend your money on things you need and share those values, they will probably do the same.

To be an American Dad you must make this country proud and be a real Dada.  Wear the badge of every American Dada and be your child’s role model.

What is the Other Dada?

There are a few other types of dada in the world.  However, the best dadas are the ones that have children and are the best dads they can be.

Dada or dadaism, is also a movement in the art world.  It all started in the early nineteen hundreds with a group of  people who protested wars through their art.  It could be anything from drawings, paintings, theatre and writings.  It could be called the anti-war art movement.
