If you were under the impression that a perfume smelling of flowers was aimed just at women – you would be wrong perfume fragrances is a hit with the latest type of modern man. These floral scents are created with the romantic in mind and who wants to capture that spirit to lure a partner or admirer through creating scents that have organic warm scents.

The perfume industry has grown into a multi million pound industry which is very consumer targeted with scents created for only a set demographic. Floral fragrances in the past have only been marketed as a womens perfume with scents designed to attract men. It’s a big market with more men becoming metro-sexual and making sure they maintain themselves, this includes what fragrance they wear. With floral fragrances now beginning to catch on with men it’s not surprising brands like Burberry, Dior and DKNY are creating floral fragrances for men.

A popular scent you will see popping up in lot in fragrances this year is the return of violet. You will see this scent being used in DKNY’s new scent for men, Gucci as well as Burberry’s The Beat For Men. The floral perfume spirit was captured by Dior in 1988 when they brought out Fahrenheit, this scent was a huge success and pushed floral scents to forefront. Still a prominent scent using scents such as violet, jasmine, honeysuckle and carnation making it a strong favourite with today’s youth. Another popular scent which is creating a lot of buzz is Dominique Ropion’s Geranium Pour Monsieur. This is a pricy perfume with a price tag of £110 and has a amber, masculine, mint scent.

Many of these new scents are available at your local high street perfume shop Take my advice, go shopping and try a few options but keep an open mind when you do. If you find a fragrance you do like then also check out online prices as sometimes perfume makers will offer better prices if you buy directly through their site.
